Since founding the company in 2018 we have seen the whisky marketplace change considerably, and in the last five years we have gone worldwide by expanding our UK office to Hong Kong, and most recently opening our very own warehouse in Speyside, Scotland.

Simon Aron, CEO and Founder, built Cask Trade as a result of his life long passion, but also as a result of facing his own negative experiences in the cask industry.Since 2018, the business has endeavoured to foster a community of trust and transparency through educational material and cask trading best practice.
Cask Trade offers expert guidance and secure storage for your cask investments. Our team includes industry professionals who ensure every step of the process is clear and accountable. We hold established relationships with trusted suppliers and offer individual accounts through a DO (delivery order) when requested.

Unlike many cask brokers, we own the stock we sell. This ensures we have already done the necessary due diligence on the cask itself, meaning you can be confident in the physical existence and quality of the cask!
We have created a real marketplace for trading whisky which is authentic, and inclusive for both private and trade clients. Whether you’re in it for the romantic journey or for returns as an alternative asset we’ll make sure ownership is enjoyable through our services.
Our success to date has been focused on acquiring stock to suit every type of customer, whether that’s Scotch Whisky, Irish Whisky, Rum or something else! We have an unparalleled stock list of over 500+ casks, with varying ages from over 90 Scottish distilleries. It’s the largest sample library available in the UK. A key benefit of registering with us is that you can scope out our varied stock list.

The Cask Trade Warehouse
A huge milestone for us is that we’ve just opened our very own bonded warehouse! This is designed to elevate your cask ownership as it provides you with a physical experience at our new Speyside warehouse. It means you can come and visit your cask, have whisky tastings and see our on site bottling plant.
We offer a range of services at our warehouse to ensure that casks are carefully maintained and managed. This includes comprehensive cask management, with secure storage, handling, and transportation of up to 25,000 casks. When the time is right we reguage the casks to ensure accurate inventory management, measuring the volume and strength of the whisky to account for evaporation ensure consistent quality and monitor the maturation progress of your whisky.
