No. Many of our bottling clients do own their own casks, but we also offer a comprehensive range of cask whisky that can be bought and bottled without waiting years for maturation. Whether you want to find a whole cask that is ready for bottling, or select from our ready-to-bottle stock which can be bottled in smaller volumes, we will find the right liquid for your project.
Once your cask has been selected and your bottling form submitted, the process typically takes 6–12 weeks. Timelines depend on factors such as label design, packaging choices and any bespoke elements. For more complex projects or international deliveries, we’ll confirm a tailored timeline at the outset.
Yes. You’re welcome to supply your own artwork or work with your own designer. Alternatively, our experienced designs can support you from concept through to print. Whichever route you choose, we’ll ensure the final artwork meets the relevant labelling and Scotch whisky requirements.
Yes. We can arrange UK and international delivery using our established logistics network. Bottles can be delivered to one address or divided between multiple destinations, subject to the applicable customs, duty and import requirements.
Yes. We can arrange samples and tasting notes so you can monitor how your whisky is developing. Using this information alongside our experience, we can advise on when to bottle based on flavour, maturity, cask condition and your plans for the whisky.
Duty and VAT charges will depend on the country your bottles are being delivered too and whether they remain in bonded storage during the movement. These charges will normally become payable when bottles are released from bond for delivery to a non-bonded address. We’ll explain the applicable costs and options before delivery is arranged.
Yes. You’ll have a dedicated bottling contact managing the project from initial planning and design through to production and delivery. Our role is to make the process clear and manageable while delivering a finished whisky you can be proud to share.
