In a huge milestone for responsible cask trading, the Cask Whisky Association (CWA) is a new organisation established to create a safe environment for whisky enthusiasts and customers to buy and sell casks.
By setting best practices in cask whisky ownership and sales, the Association aims to protect cask whisky customers and the wider whisky industry. Members will have to adhere to these guidelines and practice responsible cask trading in order to remain CWA certified.Â
Cask Trade will continue to support and be an active member of the CWA.
